State Statistics Committee published data on the exports and imports of services over the past year, compared with the previous year of 2013. Statistics data does not not include temporarily occupied Crimea. Data on Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts requires clarification.
Decrease / increase of exports and imports compared to the previous year was uneven in Ukraine. Statistically, the most interesting is the center of the country: 138.7% growth of exports in Kirovograd Oblast and 154.4% increase of imports in Cherkasy Oblast. Data on Luhansk Oblast, that is showing growth of exports on 130.1%, needs clarification.
Unlike the balance of exports and imports of goods, balance of services in Ukraine is positive (in the amount of nearly 5.6 billion US dollars). The overall balance also takes into account volumes, that are not distributed by region.
Exports of services prevails over imports almost all over the territory of the country. A notable exception – Poltava region, which has a large negative balance.
